Q: Why should I choose Efficient Spaces to help me get organized?

Q: As a home organizing consultant, what do you do that a cleaning service can’t do for less?
A: When you hire a cleaning service, you get a clean house. When you hire Efficient Spaces, you’re on your way to a functional home.

As an organizer, I do much more than just “cleaning,” I work as your partner to teach you organizing skills, provide motivation, and encourage change as needed.

Q: I can’t afford your services. (By the way, how  much do you charge?)
A: Perhaps because of the dramatic results you get with professional organizing, there is a perception that professional organizers must be unaffordable.

As with any professional service, the cost of organizing varies and is based on both regional differences and the professional’s qualifications. The national average for residential organizing ranges from $55 to $85 an hour. (Business organizing tends to cost more than residential services; Midwest prices are typically less than on the Coasts.)

Q: I would like to hire you, but I’m so embarrassed by my mess. What will my friends, family or neighbors think?
A: First, you should know that you are not alone. Not everyone is born organized and not everyone who was once organized stays that way. Everyone has their own reasons for needing an organizer, and there’s no reason to be ashamed.

Second, please remember that Efficient Spaces provides organizing services with total confidentiality. The work we do will be known only by you and those you may wish to tell. There is no reason your neighbors or anyone else has to know about your changes – unless of course you want to proudly show off what you’ve accomplished!

Q: Why should I hire you for home staging services? Isn’t that what I pay for when I hire my realtor?
A: Real estate agents are experts at marketing your home, and it’s true, some are excellent at “staging” it too, so it often depends on your real estate agent and their schedule. Often it's the agents themselves who call upon Efficient Spaces because they either do not have the time or the expertise to give their client’s home the top-dollar look it needs.

Efficient Spaces can dedicate both time and expertise to the staging process, especially for those clients whose homes need some “de-cluttering” or pre-packing help. The extra profits you make when your house sells more than makes up for the nominal costs you pay for these services.
